CareLoop Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-27

1. Using CareLoop

CareLoop is a software tool for families and caregivers to organize care information, coordinate helpers, and prepare factual summaries for appointments.

By using CareLoop, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and to provide information you are allowed to share.

2. Not a medical device

CareLoop is not a medical device, does not provide clinical advice, and is not a substitute for professional healthcare.

CareLoop stores, organizes, and exports information entered by users. It does not diagnose, interpret symptoms as medical conclusions, recommend treatment, recommend medication or dose changes, or replace a qualified healthcare provider.

3. User-entered data

All care-related information in CareLoop is entered voluntarily by users or invited care group members. Users are responsible for checking accuracy before relying on, printing, copying, or sharing information from CareLoop.

CareLoop does not receive medical records directly from healthcare providers, hospitals, pharmacies, or insurance companies unless that feature is explicitly added later and separately disclosed.

4. No liability for health outcomes

CareLoop is not responsible for healthcare decisions, treatment decisions, emergencies, or health outcomes based on information viewed, organized, or exported through the app.

Users remain responsible for verifying information and consulting qualified healthcare professionals.

5. AI-assisted features

CareLoop offers optional, action-triggered AI-assisted features to organize family notes, read medication-label photos, and prepare questions and summaries. To provide them, CareLoop sends the relevant care information you choose to process — which may include notes and questions you write, structured care-summary data, medication information, vitals, health records, and medication-label photos — to our third-party AI provider, Groq, for processing.

AI output is for organization only, must be reviewed by a user, and is not medical advice. Do not use AI features for emergencies. If you do not want this care information processed by our AI provider, do not use the AI-assisted features.

6. Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for managing who you invite into your care group. Only invite people you trust with the care information in that group.

7. Billing and trial

If you start a paid plan or trial, billing terms shown at checkout apply. CareLoop may offer a 7-day trial followed by a monthly subscription. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the monthly charge when a trial is offered.

8. Deleting your account

You may delete your account from Settings → Delete account. Deletion may also remove related care group data when applicable under the app’s data model.

9. Availability

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of CareLoop from time to time.

10. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we will update the date at the top of this page.
